Marianjoy Foundation
In 1972, the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters founded Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital with a mission of providing the highest quality physical rehabilitation services to the community. We’ve worked hard to exceed that goal by offering our patients therapies in state-of-the-art facilities throughout the suburbs of Chicago. Our services are delivered by compassionate clinical experts who seek to address the needs of mind, body, and spirit with one purpose in mind – helping people with disabilities achieve maximum independence. Today, the Marianjoy Foundation remains committed to the Wheaton Franciscan’s goals by raising and distributing funds to help support Marianjoy’s mission of serving people with disabilities. Funds raised by the Foundation benefit our patient care, education, research and community outreach programs. The Foundation exceeded its new building capital campaign goal of $10 million as the new Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital opened in October 2006. Now the Foundation is focused on a new campaign to renovate the original hospital, increasing and augmenting the home of Marianjoy’s outpatient programs and physical therapy, and the physician specialty clinics such as the Post Concussive Institute and Speech-Language Pathology. Friends of MarianjoyTo recognize dedicated donors, the Foundation encourages membership for the Friends of Marianjoy. Members contribute $1,000 or more to Marianjoy in a 12-month period.
