Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital is located in Wheaton, IL and offers 100 acute inpatient rehabilitation beds and 27 Medicare-licensed sub-acute beds for adult and pediatric patients recovering from illness or injury who require intensive therapy to regain their function and independence. In 2014 the Marianjoy Assistive Rehabilitation Technology Institute was opened on the main Wheaton campus, offering patients access to a new Aquatic Therapy center, a unique Driver’s Rehabilitation program, a nationally-recognized Swallowing Center, and other innovative programs focused on the delivery of therapy designed to help patients return to their optimal level of functioning. In 2016, the Center for Neurorehabilitation and Neuroplasticity will be opened, creating the opportunity for further utilization of technology and research designed to help patients with their recovery.
