Marianjoy offers most classes free of charge unless otherwise indicated in the descriptions below. Registration is required for all classes. You may enroll by clicking the registration below or calling 630-909-7102.


Planning Ahead: Strategies for Helping Your Child Successfully Transition into Adulthood

Parents of youth with disabilities are often very good at advocating for their child.  However, they may not be as familiar with the importance of transition planning, establishing independence skills or what they can do to help their youth be better prepared for the adult world.

This free presentation will provide information on accessible resources, services and opportunities that are available for your child as they transition into employment, postsecondary education, day programs, and residential or independent living. 

Topics will include:

  • Secondary Education Possibilities
  • Day Programs
  • Employment/Apprenticeships/Training Programs
  • Residential Programs
  • Guardianship
  • Social Security
  • Medicaid/Medicare/SSI
  • Tips and Tools to promote and support Independence Skills

The Runners Network Boot Camp

Do you want to learn how to decrease your risk of injury, become a more efficient runner, or work towards a personal record?

This class, designed for runners of all levels of experience, will be led by Natalie Look, Marianjoy physical therapist, lecturer, and experienced
runner and marathoner. Classes will be interactive and include:


  • Stretching

  • Strengthening

  • Plyometrics

  • Sprints

  • Agility Drills

Each session will meet for six weeks, with classes being held three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays). Participants can choose to attend any combination of days – or all three! The cost is $20 per class. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.

Therapeutic Golf Clinics Schedule

Marianjoy's Therapeutic Golf Program helps individuals regain independence and functionality, and helps them get back to the game of golf.

The Marianjoy Therapeutic Golf Program is open to golfers of all ability levels and is designed to help each person improve at their own pace.

These clinics help individuals regain independence and functionality, and help get them back to the game of golf.

Clinic participants will have an opportunity to practice on the range, putting green, and a short course setting. Instruction is tailored to meet each person's unique needs. Our program is open to all golfers of all ability levels and are designed to help each person improve at his or her own pace!

Yoga Classes

Yoga is the perfect exercise to help calm your mind, stretch your body, and firm your core.  All physical ability levels are welcome and modifications to the exercises will be shown.


Interested in signing up for the next five week session?

When: Classes take place every Monday and Thursday for five-weeks. Sessions continue on a consecutive basis. Call for information on the next upcoming session.

Time: 5:45-6:45 p.m.

Where: The Marianjoy Adminstration Building

Cost: A five-week session is $50 – only $5/per class! Payment can be made on the first night of class. Cash or check is accepted.
