Marianjoy Board Names New Chair and Two New Members

May 23, 2008, Wheaton, IL — The Marianjoy Board of Directors announced the appointment of a new Chairman of the Board — Donald H. Fischer. A member of the Marianjoy  Board of Directors for four years, Fischer is the Chairman of Community Bank-Wheaton/Glen Ellyn, an institution he organized in 1994. Don Fischer is extremely active in the community, serving as a board member of the Glen Ellyn Rotary Club Foundation, a member of the Wheaton Economic Restructuring Committee, and a board member of the Wheaton Lion’s Club.

 

“It has been a privilege to serve on the board of such an outstanding institution such as Marianjoy, supporting their mission to serve individuals with disabilities and provide rehabilitation services throughout the Chicagoland area. I am honored to now continue my service as Chairman, and look forward to the exciting things in store as Marianjoy continues to adapt and expand to meet the challenges of an ever-changing community,” said Fischer.

 

The Marianjoy Board of Directors has also added two new members.

 

Patrick J. Kronenwetter is an attorney with Wolin, Kelter & Rosen Ltd. in Chicago. For more than 25 years, Kronenwetter has represented a wide variety of individual and corporate clients in a broad range of civil and criminal matters. He currently concentrates his practice on advising and assisting foreign businesses doing business in the United States and those seeking to enter the U.S. market. Kronenwetter resides in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

 

Maureen Buckley is Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer for Leaders Bank in Oak Brook, Illinois. There she is responsible for all business development activities. Buckley is a member of the College of DuPage Foundation Board. Buckley resides in Aurora, Illinois.
