Volunteering at Marianjoy

Volunteers play a key role in supporting our commitment to the community and are vital to our mission of rebuilding lifestyles for people with disabilities. Each year, more than 180 volunteers contribute thousands of hours of service to Marianjoy. They can be found using their talents and abilities in various capacities throughout the hospital and our network facilities.

Becoming a Volunteer

Every day, Marianjoy volunteers touch the lives of patients, families and other visitors. A friendly smile, a helpful hand and a warm heart can make an important difference in the experience people have when they are in the hospital or receiving care. While the generous gift of your time and talents helps others, it also benefits you in many ways. As a volunteer, you can:

  • increase your knowledge of health care, hospital programs and services.
  • meet new people and share your talents with others.
  • feel valued and needed, with a sense of satisfaction knowing you're helping our patients return to active, productive lifestyles.
  • attend the annual luncheon honoring your service and dedication.
  • receive a free flu shot annually.
