Becoming a Volunteer
Marianjoy welcomes adult and student volunteers. We have an active VolunTEEN program, which some area high schools have included in their curriculum.
To become a volunteer, please call (630) 909-7400 to request an information packet. This packet includes an application with a return envelope. After we’ve received your application, we will call you to arrange a time for a tour and to discuss your interests and our current opportunities.
Advantages of Volunteering
In return for your commitment, you’ll receive many benefits including:
- A volunteer orientation.
- Training from the department in which you work.
- Annual luncheon honoring all volunteers.
- Recognition and appreciation from Marianjoy patients and staff.
- The opportunity to make long-lasting friendships with volunteers, staff and patients.
- A sense of satisfaction knowing you’re helping our patients return to active, productive lifestyles.
